wow...fail on my part. i just assumed it was the Quran. Even a stupider thread then I thought originally. Message from Islam and its written by Ahmedinijad? lol!
I left for a week, and when I returned almost the whole page was about Islam. We've talked to death about terrorism, muslim extremism, Islam in Europe, Mathloom etc. Can we at least have meaningless screaming matches about something new? And can we stop bringing it up in every non-economic topic?
This is getting out of hand. Seriously, I am not an atheist but i find this thread Disturbing Bigoted Disgusting Moronic OP is clearly a nut case. So is anyone who tries to go to any lenghts demonize any group for that matter.
You do realize that posting an excerpt encouraging pedophilia from a book written by Iranian Shi'ite religious leader Khomeni and labeling it a "message from Islam" is like posting an excerpt from the book of mormon about the benefits magic underwear or polygamy and labeling it "a message from Christianity"? Shiites make up only about 10% of the total muslim population in the world. The overwhelming majority of muslims happen to be of the Sunni sect. There are fundamental disagreements and even straight up hostility between the two sects, personified by the current struggle in my home country of Syria where Shiite-backed alawi sect (Assad's regime people) are systematically slaughtering the women and children of the majority sunni population. But back to the subject at hand, within those 10% shiites, there are some good people who are moderate and open minded, and then there are the crazies who want to blow up the whole world, oppress their people, and bang babies (ugh) such as Mr. Khomeni who you quoted in the OP.
Actually that is a Jewish message from the Old Testament not a Christian message from the New Testament. That is part of the Jewish law. When Christ died for our sins the Jewish law became null an void for anyone who believes in him. Galatians 2:16 King James Version (KJV) 16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
