    Is this real...It seems he writes pretty good English...

    Anyway, I feel sorry for the women and children suffering through the bombing that are against SH...

    Possum, you "tree-hugger" label is getting pretty old. :rolleyes:

    If this guy is legit, I don't know how representative his opinion is. I remember a few days ago, I saw on TV (don't remember which program) two nights in a row. The first, an expert on Iraq who has lived in the country for a long time, rant about how the Iraqi people didn't need the war. The second, another expert on Iraq who has lived in the country for a long time (in other words, same credential as the first expert) said the exact opposite. She said that the Iraqi people welcome the American troops to liberate their country.

    I suspect that the truth is somewhere in between.

    And if you read Salam's posts, you'll see that his opinions are in between as well -- he'd like a democratic Iraq, but preferably one that hasn't been bombed into the Stone Age to achieve that goal.
