Are you kidding me? Seriously, where's Ashton. I've got to be getting Punk'd here right? Please, tell me this is some sort of sick BBS joke. No, Leinart is better because :

    2 national Championships
    1 Heisman
    Better career stats
All you really have to do is watch them play

Yea unfortunately i watched the whole game. If not for a dropped td by ohio state then they would have won. Vince had costly turnovers that game that everyone just brushed off because he is so exciting. Vince threw up a prayer and limas (who apparently isnt good?) made a great catch

OMG, it isn't that hard.. Leinart was, is and will be the best QB between the two. The saddest thing is that many of you are biased towards UT , while I have none whatsoever.

so even though one has a higher rating as a PASSER, is a better runner, and is also undefeated this year, its clear that the other had a better year?

what is so tough about ND's schedule? Outside of USC, their next toughest game is Michigan and they're terrible this year.

Ohio State has played and barely lost to the #2 and #3 teams in the BCS. Notre Dame, IIRC has not beaten a ranked opponent and lost to Michigan State, a non-bowling team, at home. They have wins over probably the four most overrated teams of the season-Tennessee, Pitt, Purdue, and Michigan.

You do realize that Cody Hodges, and Omar Jacobs arent players that are leading their teams to an undefeated season topped by a national championship game do you? That's why they aren't as good as VY.

Once again I'll reiterate. You aggies need to stop b****ing about Texas. Stop being so little brother and get off our nuts. thanks.

You just lost credibility by saying Michigan is terrible this year. It shows that you don't follow College Football closely but rather just look at records. They've played most of the season without Mike Hart. They beat Penn State, would have taken ND to oT if Henne didn't fumble on the goal line, lost a heart breaker to Ohio State on a broken play, and lost a tough game to Wisconsin. Pretty terrible team.

I'd love to get a USC fan's reaction to this stupid thread. Notice that only the horn fans are claiming that Vince is better than Leinart. You simply can't argue with two MNCs and a Heisman. Leinart is a candidate for the greatest college qb of all time. If he wins a THIRD national championship, I would say that he is the greatest of all time. Oh by the way, current lines are favoring USC handily. The QB is a leadership position. Leaders take their teams to national championships.

And yeah... Notre Dame's defining moment of the season is not getting blown out by USC. They're lone top25 victory came against Michigan. They have a lot of wins that would have looked nice if preseason rankings held together (Tennessee, Purdue, Pitt) but now that we've seen how those teams really turned out there are questions whether they really deserve a BCS bowl.

Ohio state's 2 losses came to teams, by all accounts, they were supposed to lose to.

you're right, joe montana, john elway, steve young, they weren't leaders because they never won national title. However, jay barker is the greatest qb to ever live.

Look, your tendency to brush of facts is getting tiresome.

The TD wasn't dropped, our defender put a hit on the TE and KNOCKED the ball loose.

Vince had 2 TO's that led to FGs. We know about this. However he picked himself up and the rest of the team by making a GOOD pass to Sweed. Even the commentators said it was a great pass and a great read. Honestly how was that pass a prayer?
