different from identifying as a republican for the purposes of putting on an uptight new yorker, and actually being one. and i wasn't voting in that primary, my friend was. lastly, the "similar incident" was in the general election, not primary.

    so, you fail.

That doesn't make any sense - the general election does not divide up voters by party, you know that. How could a "similar episode" have occurred?

Your attempt to explain this away is not working, friend.

Epic call out is epic. Better than anything else that can happen in this thread was Basso quoting himself in the other and calling fail.

shouldn't this be the end of a thread about Sarah Palin's governing style?

I don't get why she gets so much good publicity after she quit her position as Governor, like this won't ruin her chances of future public ofice?

    SHE QUIT ON HER CONSTITUENTS

I agree. I don't see any way, any way at all that she can explain that away in a campaign. I expect her to be raked over the coals during primaries on that fact.

First- You described yourself as a Republican when talking about the guy in your building. That had nothing to do with "identifying as a republican for the purposes of putting on an uptight new yorker"

Second- If your explanation is correct then you were lying to the girl on the street.

    Third- What Sam said.

Conclusion- This weak sauce is almost as embarassing as your cooking analogy/rationale when you were stone cold busted plagiarizing wingnut blogs.

I guess it's possible he means he's not a REGISTERED republican here, but is still a republican. He's dancing along a fine line though. He's clearly messed up, but he does have some semantics to prop himself up in his mind.

I think he's just straight up lying. I can't imagine that basso can keep himself from voting in Republican primaries.

Strangely, my search of New York state voter records for registered Republicans going by the name basso has not been successful.

Please recount this similar episode- I'd like you to embellish this fabrication as much as possible. Hopefully your embellishment will be something that can be contradicted by previous posts.

I offer you the story in which you alluded that a similar story happened to you when voting in a primary, as had happened to one of your fellow Republicans, and your own admission "I'm a registered republican".

    Talisker will be fine.
