Well lately they have been treating him like he is a 2nd option. Yao is suppose to be the "franchise guy" and only shoots the ball 9 times sometimes 12. Basically what I'm trying to say is that Yao barely touches the ball and guys usually don't look his way. What kind of franchise player is that. Yao needs to demand the ball more. Maybe that's not who he is but if he is the "franchise guy" he needs to act like it. Matter fact if he is suppose to be the 1st option he needs to open his mouth and demand the ball.

I like Yao but I have to agree with you here. You could have added Dream doesn't get blocked by 5'8 guys but hey that's me

Yes Yao is who he is but there is no way we are going to pick up Dwight Howard for him. There is no way we're getting Amare for him. He is what he is and we need to work with that. If we plan on rebuilding fine... then trade them all... but I honestly think we can still capitalize off the man and all we need is a coach that knows how to utilize his skills. We have Scola Landry and hayes to rotate but where in the hell is Mt. Mutombo. We signed him up to be a back up and all we use him for is a bench scrub to cheer us on. We could have used that money to hire a bunch of strippers on the bench and that should rowdy up the boys too and heck it might be cheaper too. I hate to say this but I am done with Rick A. If you thought the wear and tear on Yao was great with JVG .... heck watch it now. Someone in that office start calling a coach that knows how to use a big man,two talented wingmen with attitudes and some decent role players. Just watch the clips from this season Yao and the Yao when VG was coaching. He was in the paint gettin easy baskets. Life was easy for him and he made the opposing players pay. Now we're throwing our big man half way across the map expecting him to catch the ball and run to position. If not we are making certain guys that aren't suited to pass him the ball to get the ball to him. He is no brad miller folks. He is no Shaq and he is sure as heck not a Hakeem. He is Yao and he is still a heck of a player but he is just not being utilized correctly now. We thought it may have been JVG that couldn't get the role players we had to score but the fact is even with Rick Adleman, Raefer Alston still bricked it all, Hayes still is a liability on offence, and Battier is still not this amazing scorer. They all had special roles and with VG we made opposing players pay with talent they had. We were a predictable Two Man offensive show at that time because in all honesty... WE BASICALLY ONLY HAD TWO main offensive players. Does Ron fit this team YES.. Does Yao fit this team yes.. does mcgrady... Flame me all you want but YES.. But not under Rick Adleman....
