I still think the MVP chant when TMac is on the ft line is a little distracting. Ive never seen any other home crowds do anything other than try to be as quiet as possible when their players are shooting free throws.
Man what games have you been watching, I've seen that plenty of times over my 20 plus years of watching NBA basketball.
Simply not true.. The Rockets drew horribly before the championships, and still failed to sellout the season after the first championship (with the old uniforms intact). They actually had their BEST and MOST POPULAR run after they acquired Barkley... sold out every game from 97-99. Additionally, getting Pippen at that time helped the popularity as well. All of this was done with the pajamas. Once they started losing, the fans stopped coming. Keeping the old unis wasn't going to stop that. Also, Celtics fans weren't showing up en mass in their losing years since 2001, even though Red was "with them" the entire time.
miami put some kind of white covers on the seats, not everyone was in white, and our 1st round crowd kicked ass compared to miami. It is the club people that bring us down, the only time they get up is when the launch crew comes out and throws t -shirts. the club people are obnoxious, most of them.
Maybe, but to me it looked like plastic covers on the seats and everybody else wearing their own white shirts. When the crowd was celebrating after wins you could see them throwing the covers off the seats and they looked like trash bags.
Yeah man. I was at game 2 and it was outstanding. I wasn't at game 1, so I can't compare the two nights.
I don't buy it. They have to deal with noise all the time on the road. And it's hardly the first time fans have chanted it for a hometeam player. Happens every year, we are hardly the inventors of it. Ya he (TMac) missed one, but he hit the other ones during the chant.
