Wow, I never realized how anal some fans are. So if the organization doesn't provide the t-shirts, you won't be willing to wear ANY red t-shirt to the game?

So you view it as the organization letting you down... In turn, you let the players down? Do you know how much dough T-mac and JVG ponied up for the rowdies? Do THEY not deserve for you to spend a few dollars and get a red t-shirt?

Ofcourse, this is all assuming that you don't have a red t-shirt.

If you really don't want to spend any money, take a white shirt that u dont wear/like anymore, dip it in red and wear that.

I wish I was in Houston. I'm in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and I was wearing a red shirt while watching the game at home with some friends, none of whom were Rocket fans.

I just can't believe how someone always finds something to complain about. The fact that THIS is the "complaint" du jour, I guess that means things are going pretty well.

Crowd was live, game was great, we won in somewhat dramatic fashion... and today I see this.

And isn't it always the people at home complaining about the crowd at the game?

Look, it's not just you, but this song gets tired, regardless of the new verse.

    Who gives a crap?

Noise is important. Whether everyone's wearing a red shirt? Not so much.

I'd still rather get free round trip airline tickets over an ugly Rockets t-shirt any day ;)

if you guys are watching LAL vs PHO, pay attention to the crowd. not everyone is wearing orange. so don't spew this crap about how the rockets need to supply red shirts to everyone. wear whatever you want (preferably red of course) as long as your cheering loudly. i'm sure the Suns aren't gonna be b****ing about color.

And what have the Astros ever won???? JACK SQUAT!!! I have never understood why the Astros get more love/support from Houstonians than the Rockets do. It's sad in a way.

There was a LOT of red. Quite a bit more than probably showed up on TV. The crowd was maybe 80 percent red, but you only see the friggin' corporate suits on TV that show up wearing a coat and khakis. Maybe we should hand out red sports coats and cocktail dresses! Be the first team to be sponsored by Gucci!

I didn't think the crowd was that loud last night. They were pretty loud, but we'll get louder if we get passed Utah and play a more popular rival. When I went to the Lakers games three years ago, the TC was ROCKIN! It's still very early. I want to go to a game where everyone stands and screams the entire fourth quarter. Hopefully we'll be in long enough for that to happen.

I agree. How hard is it to wear red? The only excuse you would have is if you're wearing a white Rockets jersey. Any other color is inexcusable.

calm down homes. If they really wanted everyone to wear red, they would provide us with red t-shirts when we got in the arena. on a side note, i did wear red. and it was awesome

crowd noise is more important than color.

it's seems that the crowd did their part with noise
and they did enough red, enough to have 80% red.

after toronto losing at home to the lowly NETS in a sea of red, this color
thing is not that great a deal.

    CLOSE THREAD.

what the hell is wrong with you? yeah, you - post starter. geezuskrist. we just won the first game of the playoffs. yao is rolling. mcgrady gets the urgency. the crowd is noisy and raucous.

and you find time to complain about red shirts.

are you even a fan? some people have their priorities in the wrong place. like up their other hole.

*but but but.... it wasn't all red!* gimme a break.

I can't speak for the non red shirt wearing fans thats their choice for whatever reason. I wore my redshirt, but I think the whole fad is alittle overrated. My main thing is how enthusiastic is the crowd? I thought the crowd was really good and was into it from the tip. My section in particular 414 was awesome, my hats off to you guys in my section. We started all kinds of chants and were pretty much standing the entire game. I think if the crowd gives this type of effort the rest of the way in the playoffs, Houston should be in good shape.

    Go Rockets!
