I think he means establish a sizeable (almost insurmountable) lead by labor day. Up to 5 games now pending tonight's Rangers and Angels games. I think it'll be tough to put away both the Rangers and Angels that early just due to the sheer amount of head to head games that are left. Astros play the Rangers 7 more times before the season ends.
