Never had a problem with purchasing from eBay, because I only purchase from people, like others have said, with extremely high feedback and those who have sold a lot of items... I don't believe in second chances... it's one strike and you're out with me buddy (when it comes to my money)... now uBid on the other hand... that's purely the devil.
fade, I would have to look at the reason for your negative and see who left it. If you were selling a regular book (meaning not that expensive), I would probably bid on your auction; however, if the book was a key one or very expensive, I would probably want to talk to you by email, at the very least, before bidding (especially after what happened with this other guy - just as a precaution). Hopefully, I will either get my negative removed (since it is a retaliatory one and from a jerk) or sellers will see who it is from and disregard it. But you ask a great question - depends on the book or product you are selling for me to decide on whether or not to bid on an auction. BTW - here is my feedback record -
Manny, why are you talking like Rudy T, with these "negatives", and "positives"? ...Miss the old coach?
hehe, um sure, ROX. BTW - I have been meaning to give you a call to see how you are doing. Have you been doing okay?
Yeah, Manny...I don't want to derail your thread, but I am completely over the palsy ...I'll talk to you tomarrow (wife took my phone by mistake)
I would compulsively shop until I dug myself into national debt like numbers. No ebay until I'm financially secure. And the biggest assholes in the world are driving on the freeways of Houston as we speak.
Actually they were already at work by the time you posted... you will see them again around 5:20 on I-45 North bound.
