They are still waiting on that all-pro cornerback to return.

Man, two years later and Purpura is still a hot topic.

That is one polarizing fat guy.

Certainly - but going into this year, they knew that he was a questionmark, so they had the opportunity to address that as they felt necessary in the offseason. When he was hurt midseason, they had built that team assuming they had an all-pro CB in there, so it's more difficult to adjust to it.

Uh....who is this "all pro CB" everyone keeps talking about? Are we still talking about the Texans?

The only situation that is comparable to Kubiak's in the last 25 years is the Brown's, another expansion that was limited. Kubiak had to get in talent, he did a great job of that and really you have to look at just the last two years imo, this and last. what he did in the first two are simply amazing to me, especially his second year going 8-8.

imo, taking over what he inherited, this is really the first disappointing year. a guy should get more than that. if next year he still makes the same mistakes by playing his third best back on crucial goal line situations are questionable calls with your entire season on the line, then you look at getting rid of him.

assuming he finishes at least 8-8

The Cleveland Browns expansion team made the playoffs in their 4th year (2002), led by Tim Couch... :) And they started with less than Kubiak did because they had literally no players.

How many high picks to the Texans have on their roster?

    They should be better.
