First and least, Birdman's tattoos are too bright. The tats looked better when they were not the focus. I feel like I knew what the guy looked like before, as in, if his tattoos were covered I'd still know who he was. He lost something for me in the last year. That being said, he shouldn't give a rats arse what I think. Second, Al Harrington has the sweetest shaped head in the NBA. When he's hunched over, he looks like wolverine. I want him on the Rockets simply for this. Nevermind, his game play being fun to watch. Third, the announcers for Denver called the Rockets team, "Not good and having a blue collar style team." How is it that Denver is not a blue collar team? They have a team filled with non-all-stars, journeymen and over-acheivers. The Broncos and Rockies are exactly the same. They should watch their tongues and let their play do the talking. I imagine some fans of Denver heard record screeches too. Fourth, the announcers for Denver also said that our style of basketball was, "no fun to watch" after Kyle Lowry flopped twice in a row. I agree that I don't want to watch a player make things look worse than they are, but the NBA has problems in that you have to flop to get a call. If the NBA starts calling fouls even though players do not gripe and do not flop, the game will be better. Basically, it was nice to hear other announcers echo my feeling about the NBA. No more celebrity calls=good bball. Last, this team has the ability to play tough mentally. I know Denver had a rough go, but it was aided by the Rockets hitting shots when it mattered and playing defense when they could make stops. Adrien and crew deserve attaboys. Or attamen if they prefer. I'm not here to offend. Those are my thoughts, I'd love to hear yours.
Denver's announcers-- or specifically, the color commentator Scott Hastings-- tend to whine about refs and other stuff every game. It's nothing against the Rockets specifically, it's just what they are.
Just another game for me, actually a little more boring than most. I didn't watch some of the 1st half because a lot of the earlier games were coming down to the wire... But, the entire 2nd half for me was about: Adrien's play, trying to figure out why I could hear every player cursing so loudly and are these Den. announcers the worst in the NBA...
Well I am not close minded. I am willing to admit the Rockets are not good as long as they admit the Nuggets team who lost to the Rockets are a steaming pile of Doodoo.
Smear some more of that brown stuff in their face by saying. Even more so worse than the Rockets with the loss of Danillo Galinari broke foot guy.
LOL, I heard that screaming that Lowry was doing in the 4th. Immediately after he did that and a foul was called one of the Nuggets said something the effect of "all you do is jump and scream". On the replay you could see Lowry making contact under the basket and screaming "Sh¥t!! Sh¥t!! Sh¥t!!".
Harrington complained to the officials early in the game about Lowry just jumping in the air and screaming and them blowing the whistle. I knew from that moment on we were gonna hear Lowry screaming and flopping around all night long just to mess with Harrington. Sho nuff!
i can't complain about their broadcast crew. I want my broadcasting team to be a fan of the team, to live and die with how the team plays. I have more respect for local broadcasting people than those national guys that are supposed to be more professional but end up being the ones that are more aroused by certain players who they perceive awesome. Dierdof comes to mind. I guess the hair gel was becoming too expensive for the birdman. You can't be the bird man without the wacky hair!
The Denver announcers used the word "dipsy doo" when describing Scola. I thought I was listening to Clyde Drexler for a second.
