Mr Morey, in case you are reading this: 1. Tell jrt to stop being a McHale apologist, especially after a loss. Garm will rest a little easier. 2. My shopping list: Millsap, Gallo, or Amir Varejao as back up AK47 if we can't re-sign Parsons Either one of Van Gundy brothers or trade for Budenholzer or Thib Make it happen and I'll start a MFC (Morey Fan Club)!
It could have something to do with me getting up a 6:30 am, and ripping up tile and concrete backer board in my house for eight hours today. I am exhausted. Apologies for the grammar. My bad.
I did a spit take. This has to be one of the most hilarious things I've read on this forum. Morey on clutchfans responding to you! I'd love to know what you take in the morning.
Come to think of it, I'm 100% sure morey has repeatedly repped me. However for his sake I will keep his name a secret
I am never a McHale apologist. Where you get that from I have no idea. Do I ever blame the players, the refs, the organization for loses? NO. I never apologize for McHale. However I do offer unneeded support. Intended only for the fan base. Certainly the Rockets organization does not need fan support other than buying seats. The only thing I attempt to accomplish is to prod the fan base into a better understanding as to what goes on in the NBA. And how to analyze it.
William Potter: Ooh! It damn well 'urts! T.E. Lawrence: Certainly it hurts. Officer: What's the trick then? T.E. Lawrence: The trick, William Potter, is not minding that it hurts.
Nice alliteration. But I am not the only CF poster (of standing and merit) that knows that Morey frequents this forum. Should I go back and redact Morey's posts and present them to you?
If you don't know for a fact that its him (and it looks like you're just basing it on a hunch), then I see nothing wrong in pointing it out.
Morey obviously splits his persona into BimaThug and durvasa. BTW, when you say McHale has a higher scoring average after an offensive timeout, do you mean higher than the Rockets average or higher than the league average?
Appreciate the effort. I have my own guess at who Morey is, which I will keep to myself (just on the small probability that I'm right). We need more intelligent conversations focused on how the game is really played. Like politics, we are too prone to looking for the easy answers rather than the right ones.
And then he proved that he was more than competent. In about 4 minutes. Sounds like any of our usual visitors? And there is one more persuasive post.
I think the biggest mistake was Morey not trading Asik in the offseason, when he was obviously disgruntled and demanding a trade. His value was much higher, and we could have gotten some pieces to backup Harden and Parsons, so that McHale wouldn't need to play them 40+ minutes every night. When a player is demanding a trade, it's best to move him early.
