Big dilemma: stick with my dad and brothers and root against USC or stick with my Rice instincts and root against UT at all costs. I just couldn't do it. Vince Young was too good. That guy gave us/me our/my best college football experience of all time. so...what does this have to do with the Rockets. well, I might not quite want to spoon the thread like SS suggested...but just wanted to make certain that all bystanders know that RIET knows how to lose his mind in victory...despite him defining the depressing side of the Rockets happy fan joy spectrum of cc.net posters. oh, and I have also witnessed TheFreak losing his mind while in town during a simple random regular season game. oh, and cbfc...was at your show at Continental...talked to your dad....that was fun. Rour whole thing about no breaks....i didn't last to 2:30am this time. I saw ya, but missed ya as well. Same night as my tix to Batman Jones last show.
Heypartner, please return. PS. I agree with just about all your take on the Gay & Stromile for Battier thread and the state of the Rockets.. I hated the trade intially, but am warming up to it. Stromile was a net negative so he is not an issue for me. I agree especially that Yao is possibly on the edge of greatness. I do think that the new rules make it problematical for even a skilled huge guy like him. Phoenix type small ball presents a major problem for us with Yao. However, with Yao, we present a unique problem for other teams assuming Tracy is healthy, and we get two or three more solid role players. I dont know if we can slow some of these deep talented teams down to play slow ball as we must play.
