Despite your disappointing lack of civility, I will furnish.
    2014-15, 11 games played: 22.4 minutes per game, .358 fg%, .143 3pt% (2/14), .692 free throw%, 5.27 rebounds/game, 1.18 assists/game, .55 blocks/game, .55 steals/game, 5.27 Points/game.

Decent rebounding numbers, everything else is atrocious.

I too am disappointed in him. He has no aggression. And for a 7' guy with no aggression he surely gets a lot of whistles for being "rough".

He has one go-to move and if the defender reacts to it, it gets blocked. He doesn't pump fake, trick, or pull another move out of his hat.

Defense. Same way. You can make one move on him, or bump him off, and you're gonna score. He doesn't make the player work hard or second guess his action.

I watch every game, every season, winning or losing. I love the Rockets.
I am a Rockets fan because they are the team I chose to follow when I became interested in sports. They are the hometown team, and I support all the hometown teams. I suppose the difference here between you and I is I can't just ignore the team's issues.

I understand your perspective, it is probably a lot less stressful to just enjoy everything. But when you are a competitive person, like I am, you embrace the lows because that is the only way you can really feel the highs.

You're not embracing the lows. What?

i know right. plus, we lost the last game against the number one ranked team in the NBA.

its more like... the more we play top ranked teams, the more we lose.

Embrace was not the best word. I just cannot adopt the attitude of "everything will be fine." That attitude is counterproductive. When we are on a low, I want to know why, and then explore ways to fix the problem.

Dorsey has the most negative impact

Tarik before he had his 6, 7 rebound had some effect

If anyone is going to quote this and whine about box score not telling the whole story, that is true sometimes, but what you can gather from this is that D-Mo is an offensive negative. He's shooting worse than Omer Asik and Roy Hibbert. Just how good at defense do you have to be to make up for that? Because I'm pretty sure despite the fact that the cool new SportVU statistics like him, Donuts is not a defensive anchor.

Yall remember when there was a campaign to trade TJones (with some kind of package) for a PG and just have DMo start?

Wasn't very long ago. I don't want to bash people's ideas, because we all want to be better. But Dmo starting just isn't great.

Here's to hoping for a breakout season from TJ!

People were hoping DMo can elevate his game to starting PF level. Well now we know he cant. But i dont see a reason to bash a guy, just because he isnt some arbitrary PF with great post defense, 40% 3pt and insane rebounding numbers. He is what he is: off the bench energy guy playing for 15-20mins per game. Maybe 3-5years later he will be able to elevate his game and become starting material. But i dont see a reason to bash him.

The minutes Dmo plays without Dwight, our overall defense goes in the toilet.

SportVU likes his individual defense. Guys like Dwight, Hibbert, and Asik make the whole defense good.

thats correct, you can play position which you can defend. DMo can defend 1on1 against Bigs fairly well, so he can play PF. But he cant archon whole team D, like true Center must.
