That is crappy. As I've alluded to here, one of the things about TV shows on DVD I like is the restoration of syndication cuts.
Dudes! (and Dude-ettes!) I can't believe some of what I've read, from some of the biggest Seinfeld Fans on the Planet Earth. Even though large tracts of Seinfeld and many old and famous Episodes have fallen or may fall into the grip of the Syndicates and all the odious apparatus of Network rule, I shall not flag or fail. I shall go on to the end, I shall fight in France, I shall fight on the seas and oceans, I shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, I shall defend our Seinfeld, whatever the cost may be, I shall fight on the beaches, I shall fight on the landing grounds, I shall fight in the fields and in the streets, I shall fight in the hills; I shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this Seinfeld or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then my Empire beyond the remote control, armed and guarded by my Brutish Feet, would carry on the struggle, until, in God's good time, the New Version, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old.
Let me know if you want me to send you "Love" from Amazon. Each set is only ~$30 (29.xx) with the discount. It's the cheapest I've seen so far. I'll be ordering later this week.
Absolutely Sonny!!!! Send away! I'll wait to preorder until then. I'll e-mail you my e-mail address through the board. Thanks!
I've owned all the episodes on VCD for quite some time now (bootleg internet purchase)... the only drawback is that you had to watch on the PC in a little window, great for travelling with a laptop. But I think I will have to break down and purchase this official release especially with all the extras! Hoochie mama!!!
