A damning analysis of the Rockets' incompetent coaching staff

For anyone who doesn't think that coaching matters and can't swing a series, just read this Xs and Os analysis of the series (especially the Houston part).

Frank Vogel outcoached the crap out of Mike D'Antoni, but more than anything, the Rockets coaches did absolutely nothing for 4 games to counter what LA did. It's beyond embarrassing and Morey absolutely has to clean house. Coaching is one of the easiest ways for Morey to improve the team, and the good news is unlike improving the player roster, he's not tied to a salary cap. Wouldn't it be nice to not have to enter every postseason at a massive disadvantage in the coaching department?

Whether it's JVG, Atkinson, Finch, etc. he has to surround the head coach with bright minds who actually know Xs and Os.

Teams shouldn't ever be able to get away with hard doubling Harden on the perimeter. The fact that gimmicky defenses like that and college zones work against us 4 games in a row without any counter or adjustment is a total indictment on the coaches.
