I dont think its that wings are more important than bigs...I think what you are seeing is a lack of quality bigs, which has made the wings stand out more. The bigs these days just arent even on the same planet as the likes of Hakeem, Robinson, Ewing, Alonzo, Shaq, etc... from back in the day.
