I would think that they're asking for your overall GPA. Also.... if a certification is easy, it has no value. So, yeah, the certs that we've mentioned as having value are gonna be difficult.
Chances are highly unlikely that you're going to find an 'entry level networking position.' You'll have to start out doing help desk/desktop support. After a few years of experience, then you'll be in a better position to move into something more specialized.
College hires. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! No one cares about your GPA. Or that you even went to college. Ever. IT is about what you have done, not what you have read about. You have to start at the bottom just like everyone else.
