    Actually, given what's been going on in here tonight...or, more accurately, what hasn't been going on, I'm feeling pretty good about this thread. Either way;

    Excellent Post!

    Maybe that's because you don't understand what you're reading...

    What's the deal? You seem like a pretty bright guy, what's the need for this mano a mondo attitude? Why do you feel the need to pi$$ on everyone who disagrees with you? It doesn't win arguments or friends, it just makes you look like an a$$. I've only really noticed you in the past few days, but in that time you've been lashing out left and right, mocking everyone who has an opposing view, bashing players you don't like, or better still, who aren't the players you do like, and basically acting like a twit. What makes this more puzzling is that there are occassional glimpses of someone with something going on upstaris, and with a lot of passion for the Rockets. This isn't an ESPN board, you don;t need to trash talk everyone to make an impression.

    Yao Ming is part of the Rockets. YOF is loving part of the Rockets. As long as Clutch allows that in this BBS, who gives a rat a$$ to a very few narrow-minded losers.

    Rockets has gone international now, baby. It's not your neighborhood also-run anymore. New fans come to here from all over the world. Better get used to it.

    Any harmonious relationship goes both ways. Whenever people think, "I'll do my part until they do their part," harmony will never happen.

    Man, do I sound like a marriage counsellor.

    Yeah, me too. I took a second look at this today, and realized it came off way more negative than I meant it to. What I meant to say was that I think you're acting in a way that isn't genuine or needed. That you are bright and a nice guy, and didn't need to adopt an attack style to make a point, you could do it just fine on your own. But it was late, I was tired, and I came off like an a$$ myself. I apologize. I stand by what I was trying to say, but take back the way I said it.

    So true. Most blacks do like Chinese foods. And the fried chickens at most Chinese takeouts are much cheaper too.:D

    Frankly, I don't really see what the fuss is all about. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and if you don't like it you have the right to ignore that opinion. For me, it makes it rather interesting if not hilarious at times to read some of the criticsms of the Rockets or their players. I for one, agree a lot with the criticsms of our guards or even Yao at times, but it doesn't mean that I am a Yao only fan or Steve only fan. I have been a Rockets fan since the days of the twin towers and will continue to be a fan even when all the current players are no longer playing. Having said that, I have to admit that having Yao on the team makes me even a bigger fan because I love his game and personality.

    Reading the board tonight is close to torture. People are saying some of the most idiotic things. And the knee jerk reactions go both ways.

    Steve and Yao get along well. They both can bring a lot to this team. Yao has gone out of his way on his own message board to defend STeve and CAt. Steve pitched in for Yao's telethon.

    These guys who spend more time with each other, and the coach, don't have the same reaction that some people who catch only glimpses of what is going on do.

    I don't mind criticism of Steve, Ming, or Cat, as long as it's not filled with biased complaining, and whining, and no in depth analysis.

    There are posters like Xenogears, Djunior, and whoever started a thread asking for there to be more Yao bashing threads who might realize a unified like for the team, might be more fun, and would definitely give more support to the players and the team.

    Isn't that what being a good fan is all about?

    there is plenty of analysis. Steve has no court vision.,and Cat is plain stupid. And Ming needs to fight double teams. Problem is ,your so in love with Francis that I actually suspect you know Francis personally and you dont want him traded. Well 65% of die hard fans cant be wrong. We want this backcourt broken up because they cant run a fast break to save their life and it freakin sucks to watch stupid plays over and over and over and over, thats its either the players or the coaches fault. We have tried two coaches, time to get new players.

    I have criticized Francis as well. I've done it on more than one occasion. Where did you get the figure 65%? If a trade will make this team better and they don't trade for someone who's a problem like Artest, Rasheed, etc. then I would be for that trade.

    As far as the stupid plays being run over and over, it does happen. It's happening less now than before, so we are moving in the right direction. Every player on every team makes stupid plays. The problem is that some people are blinded by likes and dislikes that mistakes seem to count five times as much when some players make them.
