Giving up to much and then going to hear him crying through out the season? Make the trade first then Ill think about it, sign the extension then he becomes a fan favorite.

Cmon people. There are ways to go about this.

If/when we get himM- applaud the acquisition and root for him aland the team to succeed. The teams and howards interests are aligned.

If he is noncommital about extending his contract, that's fine too. He just got here. Encourage and welcome him.

If he says Houston is crap and I'm walking, then we got a divergence of interest w the team. No need to boo Bc that could weaken the teams position. Let it play out and let mgmt find a deal to trade him or stare him down and say we wont trade you and will hold open a Max extension for you.

Ir the team holds open the extension, you gotta root for the team.

NOW, IF HE STARTS TO FAKE INJURY AND MISS GAMES, I WILL BOO HIS ASS LIKE STACEY MCLADY UNTIL HE RUNS FORR COVER.

F c(h)oward, he'll need to win me over, not the other way around

mortgage your future for a guy who only plays defense and rebound, liability on offense and at the free throw line

call me crazy but isnt your superstar supposed to be that guy where in crunch time you throw him the ball and say, ''here, make something happen for us, we need baskets to close the deal''

howard isnt that guy, your ''superstar'' has to be that guy, and he cant deliver.. F howard

I don't know if he would be faking or not (not a doctor) but I do see him having a lot of back issues and spasms. Still haven't heard any news on when he would be ready to play.

    F*** Dwight and Morey

I consider myself a true fan, but after throwing away the heart and soul of the team (multiple guys) for close to nothing and likely giving up the future of this team to get crybaby Dwight who will NOT stay here and a bunch of terrible salaries, I'll be as mad at this organization as I possibly could be. We're guaranteed to be stuck with no young talent, no Dwight and a bunch of Turkoglu types next year.

Depends on who we give up and how he treats us. We do not want to be the pathetic freshman boy in love with the hot senior girl and take every piece of crap thrown our way just to get approval. If he doesn't give his all or he milks his back injury to avoid playing, I'm going to boo him and try to make him realize the joke that he is (If he actually does that). If he plays hard and looks like he wants to be here and help us be the best we can be, I will support him all the way.

He has to earn my support. I'm not going to just hand it out like candy. Especially with the way he has acted towards this whole trade dilemma.

Will give to him what he earns, no more no less. Would not be able of thinking that he is in the same class as Dream was.

I've never been a fan of Dwight Howard, and at this point he could play for the Rockets or become the President of the United States . . . I will never be one of his fans. I already knew he was a fake/pseudo nice guy opportunist early in his career.

I'm going to be honest ... he does rub you the wrong way, and is a self-righteous, grinning prick who gives primadonnas a bad name.

I will always root for the Rockets. i don't have to always agree with their moves but I will root for them. Howard? At least I don't have to root for him till probably January since he is going to be out. Another reason why I don't understand giving up our whole farm to get this guy. It's not even a full rental.
