Ahh, a mere money issue? No doubt it'll be resolved.

There's no way Comedy Central is going to let Chappelle go. Did you read that article? Higher ratings than South Park. That instantly makes Chappelle the network's #1 priority.

Comedy Central is merely going to have to start paying Chappelle Exec. producer money as well as giving him a fat share of future DVD release revenues. I'd wager they'll likely also include provisions for future stand-up specials, too.

As for Chappelle, I think that Comedy Central is by far his best bet. Sure, HBO affords a lot of things basic cable can't, but Comedy Central is available in a LOT more households than HBO. Sure, The Chris Rock Show was a hit and all, but it was NOWHERE NEAR as ubiquitous as South Park or even the Daily Show. And as far as I know, Rock was HBO's biggest comedy hit. It seems to me that to a comic, exposure trumps money when it comes to television- think of the movie and endorsement offers that are going to start (continue?) rolling in for the guy.

I forsee this as becoming Simpsons-voice-actor-strike pt. II.

I should've known something was up when all my dreams last night were about me and Paulie Shore fighting zombies. That was just too wierd. I mean he's funny and all but now's not the time Paulie.

Oh yeah, that sucks. The Daily Show is so inacurate as a news show and should be canceled while they're at it.

if chappelle pushes the envelope too much, why don't they just cancel south park. seriously, comedy central is tamer than mtv and fox, the only difference is that they try to look like they are pushing the envelope.

Chappelle's Show would be really good if it didn't have a five-minute commercial break every four minutes. I have never seen a show with so many ads. Surely it must own the record.

I can't stand Bill O'Reilley, but it sounds like some of you owe him an apology. :D

I noticed that to ZRB but the things that pisses me off even more was the recent Best of Season 2 shows (except Rick James) The Rick James skits were the the funniest thing I have ever seen on TV.

If I was wrong to bash him on this topic, im sure he is well deserving of it in various others.

Well put. If Chapelle goes, so does South Park.

But hopefully CC will pay up. Chapelle's Show and South Park have got to be two of the funniest shows on tv.
