They're bad mouthing Houston and Rockets fans at the game yesterday right now ...

Also read elsewhere that they reported the Blazers sent in a tape to the league about the inconsistent calls during the series.

apparently they think the series is reffed so bad. it's plastered everywhere on their forum, www.blazersedge.com it's ridiculous, on how they have their homer glasses and don't see we have the bad calls also.

Par for the course. Portland fans hate Rockets. Rockets fans hate Jazz.

Everybody hates everything about the other team when they are down 1-3.

Funniest part is apparently there is a Jason Quick vs. Jonathan Feigan rivalry. A beat writer rivalry?

So apparently they're jealous of the local media that fall in love with the Rockets?? That is one stupid irony i ever heard. Why would you be jealous of local media falling in love with the Rockets ...after all, i am sure in Portland you guys have your own media falling in love with the Blazers.

Sick of our reporters cause they see them so much That's what happens when you play a 7-game series. Oops I forgot they haven't been in the playoffs in 5-6 years.

Watching the Blazers I am like any other fan, I scream at my tv when:

-The refs call crazy fouls on Oden

-Don't give Yao fouls when he hacks someone,

-When Blake dribbles too much

-When LMA pops, instead of rolls on a pick and roll

-etc, etc, etc...

I guess it will take time for Blazers to accept they're still not an elite team.
If we play the Lakers and if we end up in this situation, down 3-1 (God I hope not) probably we would write the same things.

I quite watching the NBA a little over a decade ago because the officials were such a huge determining factor on the outcome of games. This great group of Portland players drew me back in finally. I should have known better.

Could we have won this game despite the officiating? Sure we could have.

That being said, our center is knocked to the floor, still secures the rebound and a Houston player is standing on top of him and no foul?

A charge, with 10 seconds left? really.

Artest pulls Roy’s jersey about a foot away from Roy’s body, then hits his arm causing Roy to the lose the ball out of bounds and it is not a foul.

Both of Oden’s early fouls were offenses by yao.

Yao commits an obvious foul and they give it to another Rocket player.

The whole entire series Roy comes off of Portland picks looking like he was the one our guy was picking because Houston is holding his arm or jersey, only one called to my recollection.

Blake fouled on a 3 pointer, clearly slapped across the arm at the top while shooting no call.

Jump ball called as a foul on Roy.

Scola gave 3 forearm shivvers to get to the boards, pushing our guy out of the play. None called. (one was on what turned out to be the fast break Sergio scored on so it didn’t kill us everytime).

THEY WERE STANDING ON TOP OF OUR CENTER WHILE HE EVEN HAD THE BALL. STANDING ON HIM and no call. STANDING ON HIM!

Not to mention the 2 technicals we were called for the last two games. Blake got one IMMEDIATELY after a personal foul call and Joel got the other IMMEDIATELY after a foul call. I mean they were both fairly insantaneous whistles, no time between them for wither to inhale, yet alone draw a technical as far as I could tell. In those same 2 games:

1. Battier charged an official yelling at an official in each game. Charged, head lowered twice, no much as a warning from either official.

2. Yao Ming stood over an official for more than 10 seconds glowering down at him. Not even a warning.

3. Scola had a mixture of walking up, yelling at and staring down officials, no warning nothing. (oddly enough Artest has been pretty good in this regard)

It is just to painful to watch this officiating garbage night after night. They don’t have this problem in college ball (except when one of the teams playing is Duke). I know, I know the pro game is faster, it is hard to officiate. It ain’t saying it is easy, but when clear advantage is given to one team over another ROUTINELY that is a problem.

Back in the regular season Aldridge was called for blocking at the 20 second left mark when he was standing there with him arms straight up before the opponent cleared the 3 point line, lost control of the ball and charged into him. Battier gets there at the last possible second, as Roy just left his feet and falls over without Roy really even touching him with 10 seconds left and a charge is called.

The official probably loved take the 5 step run and calling that charge in front of the home crowd all dramatically. Probably made him feel real good, but when officials determine the outcome of game after game I just can’t stand to watch it. The NBA is FIXED.

I am done. I have season tickets for next year, I will put them up for sale if I can’t get a refund. It is a shame, I like these guys, but I am not giving my money to this league. I am going to boycott the NBA, write their television sponsors and tell them until NBA league officals are run independently as every other major professional sport I will not purchase their products nor watch NBA games.

I am still going to the game Tuesday. I will still root this team on, it is not their fault, but once this series is through, I am done.

I know complaining about the officials is getting tiresome, I hate doing it. But, honestly, watching this basketball league is not good for my health.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Bunch of homers calling another bunch of homers homers. Feigen and Justice have nothing to be ashamed of, supporting the home team is not a crime.

Interesting, Brandon Roy missed practice with flu like symptoms, maybe he won't play Tuesday or will be under the weather for the game.

The best part about that guy is that he completely made up half of what he said. He didn't misinterpret anything he completely fabricated those incidents. Wow.
