    Went down to the local Subway (Verterans Memorial and Greens Rd.) and saw old rockets forward Carl Herrera. Didn't want to take up too much of his time seeing he was with some people, but he was nice enough to say that he was still playing basketball overseas. Got the check out the Championship ring also. I know you don't get credit unless you have proof so here you go......

    I wonder if Carl is the last one on the squad still playing professionally anywhere.

    Edit: Of course, Cassell and Horry are still around. Stand corrected... but it's been a while since these guys were out there.

    Man thats a hot spot. I have a Western Union right across the street from there. Chris Gatlin stopped by to transfer some money a couple weeks ago. I never knew he lived around here.

    Amigo put in some hard minutes for the classic Rockets. He's an unsung hero, really. His numbers were never telling of his true contributions. He wasn't the superstar. He wasn't the go-to guy...
    ... he was the quiet grunt-work guy who did the important things to make his team better. He was part of greatness.
