    did I say Mack was overrated?

    No I did not.

    I just don't think the whole "remember what we were like pre-Mack" defense can be used forever. I've had it with Mack. Either GD goes or both go (if Mack continues to not be professional and separate his friendship from business.)

    Neither Osborn nor Bowden ever coached in a conference as good as the Big 12, either. The ACC has been perennially weak, and the Big 8 wasn't as demanding as the Big 12. Its apples and oranges.

    No HISD team had beaten Katy in the playoffs for seven seasons until they were beaten by Madison quarterbacked by Vince Young. I have been down on his passing the last few games but to suggest moving him this early in his career at Texas is premature. The guy is a stud and he will get better.

    It was a good win but Jesus, there's a bit of a difference b/t the TT defense and the OU defense. I wouldn't conclude much about VY from this game. UT's defense is what won this game. A guy goes from not being able to complete a 5-yd pass one week to making some decent throws 2 wks later - do you think the defense may have had something to do with it?

    I heard that TT was actually FAVORED at gametime. How often is an unranked team favored against a top ten team? Basically UT played up to its potential in this game.

    Yeah, Texas blasted their asses for 51 points but it was the defense that won the game. LOL.
