Well their leader the great John McCain brought one of the biggest freaks from Wasilla to one of the front runners to head the party.

Their leaders in Congress speak frequently at tea party events. Some of their congress folks are apparently birthers or encourage the birthers to nut on.

It must be hell to be a moderate Republican. Wake up it ain't your daddies GOP.

If moderate Republicans can't wrest control from the freakshow, they should stop calling themselves Republicans. The party has nothing to do with them anymore. They should acknowledge that the party has left them and shows no signs of coming back and re-register as Independents.

And I hope thumbs is rightly ashamed of today's display.

If they are so worried about gov't spending, where have they been the last 8 years? the last 40 years?

It's only now that gov't waste exists?

Please - these people are nothing but attack dogs. If it wasn't gov't spending, it would be something else. This isn't about policy at all, it's about Obama.

bigtexx refused to deny or repudiate the birthers. He is probably one. Maybe we are seeing a transformation from country clubber to birther and teapartier.

Let's hope for a period of reflection that will lead him to join Republicans for Obama. I bleive George Wallace, Strom Thurmond and others were shown to be capable of such growth in their older years.

Remember when Republicans used to complain that Democrats were too angry, too impolite and unpatriotic for not supporting the president? It was less than a year ago. These guys have no moral center at all.

they're freaks and ****tards because they disagree with our country's president based off of things that don't exist in reality.

it'd be like me hating bush because a unicorn raped my mother.

I am curious where you were when Bush was pushing the medicare prescription drug benefits. Were you out protesting to protect our freedom?

I like how the unbearable whiteness of being there has warped the very fabric of reality. Check out the MILF in the bottom left.

Because all of that ungodly close-minded uniformity is packed into one tiny little frame, space-time is collapsing upon itself: in that photo, you can see the facelift that woman won't even decide to get for another seven years (not coincidentally, the length of Obama's presidency), already stretching and de-stretching her face!

Glenn Beck's ego trips turn out to be pretty powerful, after all. (Could be a fisheye lens, but I prefer my explanation.)

This Republican thinks that those that are against the President just to be against the President are angry, impolite and unpatriotic.

It swings both ways. The standards do not change with the person in office.

I may not agree with Obama on a lot of things, but he is the President. As such, he commands respect.

The conservatives that are constantly sniping at Obama and being childish are hurting their argument, not helping it. Crying about the election is not going to help going forward.

Initial reports of crowd estimates, 25 to 30k

About the same number that showed up to hear O at the Target Center in Minneapolis today.

I am guessing the woman carrying that sign doesn't have too much experience going to bed supperless. The sign hides the upper body but these are some thick thighs (not that there's anything wrong with that).
