Swoly-D, even you must admit that the Mexican team is one of the dirtiest in international soccer. They seem to be trained to take cheap shots and use underhanded tactics on the pitch. I've seen more gouging, flops, borderline takedowns, and bad sportsmanship from their side than any other.
As an Irishman and member of the Irish/Mexican alliance, I take exception. We Irish pride ourselves on being dirty and taking cheap shots. Certainly no people surpasses us in that effort!
We (my country) know how dirty the Irish can be however i always thought of the irish as hard working, and not really dirty(i have to say i'm a big irish national team fan since 1988, with my idol Pat Bonner)). The italian are dirty players, I really dislike them(hate is such a strong word)
Hey Swoly, where'd you hear about the Rockets after being born and raised in Mexico? And what kind of internet connection are you on over there in Mexico?
MadMax, You continue to stay true to the almost-similar-flag-color alliance. Have another on ME. [insert CORONA picture]. Continúas siendo fiel a la alianza banderas-del-casi-mismo-color. Echate otra, yo invito. [pon foto de CORONA] Aceshigh7 I will be the first one to accept we do DIRTY stuff like that and that it's not accepted. I do recall we were dirty in games past when we were losing. But we're not THE dirtiest. What do you want from meeeEEEeeee???? Sincerely, DallasThomas, I live in Katy and work in downtown Houston. T3 from work.
HeeEeeeEeeeyyyy... how come I didn't see that? HeeEeeeEeeeyyyy... ¿como fue que no vi eso? OK. September 3. Here's some U.S. vs. Mexico statistical information. Ironically, the one that counted is the one we didn't win and the one we want to forget. Mexico doesn't win in the U.S. in a qualifying match since '72. In contrast, U.S. has NEVER beaten Mexico in Mexico in a qualifying match.
LOL! DAMN. We don't have an insulting dog in Mexico. You win. ¡Já! MALDICION. I posted the stats because luck/history/statistics are on your side in this game. I don't expect Mexico to "dominate" or "win big" this time, but it would be good.
Dear Swoly, I apologize. It was a cheap shot and uncalled for. I wasn't in anyway trying to insult Mexicanos. Just the Tri's, who get on my bad side. I'll take my red card and go home now. The U.S. is still gonna kick their a$$.
Hi Slowly (sorry, SlowLy ) im here to back you up. Go Mexico!! I dont like soccer but I support my country, and in MEXICO we have T2 internet connection.
Oh i forgot that you haven't been a soccer fan that long. First in 1988 when we(holland) won the european championship we beat ireland in the group stage, with 1-0. and it was a very lucky goal. Our striker(wim Kieft) Headed the ball, and because of a hole on the grass it went in. We were so lucky. After that it was a piece of cake. And the mian thing i was refering to was the WC 2002 qualification. It is to painfull to talk about. but holland had to play a decive game against ireland for qualifiaction. And the Dutch played arogant, and the irish played with fire, and with emotions. I think you can gues what happened
The future of US-Mexican relations hinges on this game. If we lose to Mexico on our own soil, then it will be the end of the world as we know it. WE WILL KICK UR ARSE!!
I guess I could ask this off-line because it may deserve its own thread: do you really know what the word meant or did you just learn it? Most people who come here, learn the curse words first... for some reason... I guess everyone in the U.S. could learn the Spanish ones for fun. Accepted, forgotten. david_rocket, (it's SwoLy, not slowly) so far, you've impressed me with your English if you're not an American living in Mexico. Explain how you learned it... To stay on topic, here are some more highlights to get warmed up before the game. Note: the U.S. goals vs. Mexico are first.
sorry to get off topic, but i didn;t want to start a new thread. And i'm sure Swoly doesn't mind. The dutch team is playing terrible against armenia. halftime and STILL 0-0 they had 74% occupation of the ball, and only 4 shots
Hey...It's my thread damn it! Good to see they took the lead. Holland was always my second favorite national team. Ajax is one of my favorite club teams as well.
