You know what? I heard it was awful. Not the music, but the acoustics. They were playing in a gym, I believe. My friend played drums for them for a while. He wasn't the original drummer, so it wasn't him doing this show. GUYANA PUNCH, AH OOOOHHH!!!!
Transformers. Thank god that China started opening up to the west at the time and I wasn't that culturally deprived as a child
Transformers? For a minute there I thought you were referring to our code word for transvestites. There was a C.O.P.S episode where one cop says to the other, that lady is a "transformer". Other cop, "What?" Cop responds, "You know more then meets the eye". Other cop, "OH!"
I loved the TV show's in the 80's. Airwolf, A-Team, Knight Rider, MacGyver, The Greatest American Hero, Sledge Hammer.
There were some great TV shows in the 80's. Most were short lived. I loved Square Pegs. I also loved Slap Maxwell, and another Dabney Coleman one that I think had the word Buffalo in it. I might have pulled that out of nowhere though.
Ah the 80's. Those were the young years! He-Man. Thudercats. Transformers. Go-bots. Ghostbusters. She-ra. Voltron 1 and 2. Popeye. Smurfs. Snorkles. Scooby-Doo.
Anybody remember a cartoon called Blackstar? If I remember correctly, it had to do with an all-powerful sword that was split in 2. the good guy (Blackstar) had one piece, and the bad guy had the other.
