My son's interest in Transformers the last 6 months has gotten me back into watching the toons I loved as a kid. So... who yah got? Devastator or Dinobots? They've faced off twice (once in the TV show and once in the movies) directly and both times came out kind of even against one another.
Dinobots were never drawn with a consistent scale. Sometimes they would be individually be half to 2/3 as large as Devastator and be enough for at least three to take him on, but if that were true, their combined form would've been much much larger than Devastator.
Devastator was not all that. Remember in Transformers the movie from 1986, after Megatron supposedly died the Constructacons formed Devastator to claim he would be their new leader (while all riding in Astrotrain.... never made sense). Then Soundwave released Rumble and Laserbeak, Rumble smashed the ground and Devastatot fell apart. Imagine the Dinobots. They're huge in comparison to Rumble, Laserbeak and all the other cassettes
Wait a minute, there was a scene where they actually battled in the 1986 movie. <object width="480" height="360"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/DK2qPxphJnM?hl=en_US&version=3&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/DK2qPxphJnM?hl=en_US&version=3&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="480" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object> I guess you can call it a tie
Hes he idiot who caused prime to die and literally tramautized me for a half year until they brought him back...in short efff rodimus.
Immaturity to maturity is the moral of the story for me . Also, Prime would be back so no need to be traumatized
Devastator is/was overrated. Grimlock and co. can take them out with ease especially when Grimlock goes into his berserker rage-esque mode.
No KIDDING. Even PRIME thought to <iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/bq1_6D9QS9Y" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" width="420"></iframe>
