Watch the news. Of course, they won't be singing "Zippity Do Dah", but you can tell they're loving it - especially John al-Murtha. Al-Murtha was looking to exploit the dead at Haditha to gain Stenny Hoyer's leadership position.
Sorry "you can tell" just doesn't cut it when you are accusing someone of something so rotten. "You can tell" isn't evidence. From watching Murtha and listening to his proposals, and the fact that he is friendly with top military brass I would think the "You can tell" on him leans that is far from happy about any of this.
Murtha's thrilled with this. It's gotten him tons of publicity on a number of TV shows. It's his 15 minutes of fame and if hurts the USMC, no biggie.
You can't argue the merits, so you attack the character. If you disagree with the substance of Murtha's, or the 9/11 widows, (insert Democrat/liberal/reporter here) positions, then make your case based on their position vs. your position.
