We have the best supporting cast in basketball. Take out the stars and you can win games by increasing the tempo while maintaining good defensive intensity.
Well I think we are getting the benefit of this surprising factor. In all 3 wins, they all think they are way better than us and expect us to be killed like a roach by the end of 3rd quarter. We kept fight'in and got on top at the end of the 3rd in all 3 wins, and all of sudden they start panicking, and became impatient. So I think this might change as the season wears down when people start to figure out what our weaknesses are. I hope by that time we have gathered enough wins and Tmac or his replacement will give us the 2nd lift.
we used to ask who will be the rocket's third scorer (when there were only shots for two). now we ask, who will be our ninth scorer.
This team might can weather the storm a bit, if the youngsters and Ariza improve enough offensively. The Rockets are probably better than average team, especially in the East. I really don't think T-Mac should rush back, if the team is over .500 or in the playoff picture.
Another factor to winning I have to say is that we have high-IQ players that can digest the game plan from Adelman and his staff as well as the research done from Morey's staff.
Agree, 500 is all I am asking for. If we are at 500 all-star break, I like our chances to make a push into the playoffs.

The latest excuse for our shocking success is that we're just a "new flavor" that other teams haven't scouted and adjusted to yet. Just wait till the other teams gameplan for the new Rockets, and we're going down for sure! We'll see...
The rational side of me says no way we can keep winning 3 out of every 4 once teams figure us out. But since when this new Rockets has been "logical". Yeah, Houston I c*m! Let's keep our expectation a little down for the health sake.
