Sura's rebounding is huge. It will hurt bad.

I don't think we can make up for his rebounding. This is bad.

4th qtr. last night we were outrebounded 13-3.

Gave up way too many offensive boards.

Just give him a few more minutes in the tanning booth and he'll be fine. I'm a big believer in new age medicine.

BTW, what happened with Bobby? Did he get overworked during the all star break in Vegas? Or did our opponents pay some hookers to get the job done?

I am now wary about TMac's back. TMac saw what happened to Sura and his aggressive drives to the basket. Look at what is happening to Sam Cassell. The dude can't even play anymore due to a bad back.

He threw his back out passing the ball to his good friend, Yao, who he reveres and does not hate.

If Sura would not throw the ball to Yao, he would not injure his back!

    :)

Here's to 32-50, a nice lottery pick and the 2005-2006 Championship.

    Get well soon, Bobby.

local injections of cortisone won't cause cushing syndrome. I doubt Sura has a compression fracture since those mainly occur in people with weak bones such as cancer patients or old ladies with osteoporosis, and as far as I know, Sura didn't suffer some major trauma like a car accident or something that could cause it.
I'm guessing he probably aggravated his herniated disc, which is something that doctors treat with strict bed rest and analgesics for a few weeks. If he's not in pain in that time, I think he should be ready to play again. I'm a 4th yr med student btw, not a doctor yet, so take what I say with a grain of salt.

Could he have aggravated his back slipping in a hotel pool in Las Vegas?

I think the injury to Sura just shows how delicate the team chemistry is on this team. One guy goes down, and it's freaking over because the depth is just horrid. Imagine if Wesley went down or Jon Barry instead of Sura. The results could be similar. The fact is the depth is just horrific, and CD needs to relay this Les Alexander. There is someone decent out there who can man the point and is available for the trade exception.

I have lower back problems also and it usually takes 4-6 weeks before I am completely recovered. There is no magic short cut once you have an episode. I guess we can expect the Rox to place Sura on the IL today and wait 4-8 weeks before he can come back. DAMN:mad:

Not for nothing, but we played one of the best teams in the L last night, and they barely squeaked out a win against us.

It definitely hurts not having Sura in the lineup, but without him we are just a good team. Not a terrible team.

    Just my two pesos.

The Rockets went 15-10 (60%) without Olajuwan in 90-91 after Cartwright's elbow. It would be nice if the Rockets could manage close to that without Sura.

So....shouldn't we be hearing about the MRI results sometime today? I wish they would give us some idea of what type of time frame we are looking at here.

The doctors said he'll miss 10 to 14 days

It was a build up of scar tissue. It was just reported on 790am
