i didn't know where to ask this but remember that guy tony ortiz who did stuf on 740 when charlie was off? he usually did the fan feed back on the weekends. anyone know what happened to him? he was a real nice good guy. always liked him.
I live in New Zealand now, but I am an obsessive 790 listener. I would happily listen to 610 if they streamed. I think John McClain is great and I am a big fan of the morning show. I have grown less fond of Rich over the years. I was in Houston in December and found him unknowledgeable about sports and uninteresting. Bland.
that will be a great day... I just listened to the songs in the link in your sig.. hadn't heard the beltran song in a while
What are you guys talking about? If we were to start streaming on May 15th it would probably just be a test link that would not be made public until the bugs are ironed out (Mixed metaphor!). It probably wouldn't be totally public until June 1st or so. If we were going to stream. But we would definitely need people to test it on the 15th. Hmm what else.... If I was to set up streaming it would follow a model like KRLD in Dallas. How funny was that Napoleon Dynamite guy last night? With the vote for Dirk shirt? Awesome.
What was funny was Bill Worrell's having no idea that it was a Napolean Dynamite skit and saying, "That guy has no business being on the court."
That was AWESOME! and then later when bull had explained what was going on...priceless. When Bull asked if he wanted him to catch him a delicious bass!
Did anyone here Avery Johnson on a mobile this morning on John and Lance's show? It was pretty funny. So was lance singing his parody of "All Systems Go", "Our line up blows".
I thought the Avery imitation was a little on the lame side, but Lance's All Systems Go was pretty damn funny...and truthful. It was great to hear all of the Rockets love this morning.
best guests are john mcclain and john harris IMO, also the van gundy show is good and air bull of course is always strong
Dude, I agree. I used to switch off when Matt Jackson came on, but that show has really, really grown on me of late. Those two play off each other so well, and they really work that sarcastic wit well back and forth. I would much prefer to hear them in the afternoon than Vandermeer and Lord.
