Closer than you think, but the 76ers pull it out in overtime. A serious question is 76ers vs Lakers. It's extremely hard for Lin and Jordan Hill to overcome the Kobe going 10-30 night in and night out. That's basically 20 free turnovers for the other team.
How depressing must it be to be a Sixers fan right now? I mean seriously. I can't even imagine watching that every night.
76ers vs Lakers reminds me of that South Park "The Losing Edge" Little League Baseball episode. Spoiler
The Phoenix Mercury is a pretty great WNBA team; that starting 5 is unbeatable in the WNBA. That said, Mercury would get crushed.
Noel would probably go for 20 blocks... I don't think it would be close. A more interesting game would between the best WNBA team and Jordan/Magic/Kareem/DrJ/Nash at their current shape.
People always forget that NBA players were all-American, all-star etc in NCAA. Every NBA team is filled with a pool of the former best college talent, plus they've matured. Every NBA team would slaughter the best NCAA squad, it wouldn't be close.
Legit question: Why did they trade off Thad Young again? I felt like he could have been a valuable piece for the young core in providing semi-vet leadership for years to come. Did he force his way out? I would think his contract wouldn't have been unbearable.
At least they are having a good sense of humor: http://forums.philly.com/discussions/Sixers_Forum/_/_/kr-sixers/71933.1
