$70K in Gear Stolen from Flock of Seagulls

    They may have had backups...in the van..but it got stolen.

    I don't care which camera you use..but the point is that not all cameras are alike and will look different...even if you take the exact same shot with each camera. As a matter of fact..in the TV world, they actually compare cameras using this method - set up a scene and put the exact same shot on each camera to see the differences - and there ARE differences. However, you've still completely missed the whole point here - it all goes back to when you said this:

    Different brands and models of the same instrument can have totally different sounds, therefore if they have to use rented instruments and cannot find a fairly rare synthesizer from the 80's, then their concert WILL NOT have the typical Flock of Seagulls sound. This is "the challenge" you referred to above. Also..for more illustration - see my post above on Peter Bucks use of guitars in REM.

    But even he isn't as dumb as FoS if they left all that **** in a van outside. Just asking for it.
