they haven't rushed at all this year. They rushed it against Texas 2 years ago in Gillispie's first year when they broke like a ~18 game conference losing streak, and last year against texas after a last second shot in a game that was said would put them in the tourney if they won.
Anyways, I hope A&M's stock doesn't drop too much with a 2 point Double-OT loss on the road to a top-15 team. Hopefully they stay a 2 or 3 seed, since those are pretty similar. Dropping to a 4 would suck though.
DEAR: those people complaining or defending rushing the court. Seriously... are you serious? Seriously. Freakin seriously.
i just got back from the game and just to let yall know, they had security lined up to prevent students from storming onto the court. But I mean if started kicking some security personnel in the balls, then the court could have been stormed. BTW, I am just wondering why it is classless to storm the court. I mean after all we are in college and want to have fun, and it was senior night. What harm could have come from that?
Maybe game of the year so far. That was a lot of fun to watch. I missed the middle portion during my indoor soccer game. We were all huddled around the tv after to watch it. Thank G-d they sell beer there. Law is a stud. I'd love to have this guy for the Rockets...but his stock just keeps rising. Durant is just on another level. However, they don't win this game without James. He just keeps getting better. Both teams should do well in the tourney. A&M isn't going to sneak up on anyone this time, but they're also much better than they were last year. Texas has probably gotten themselves a 4 seed and could possibly improve on that with a win @ KU and a tourney championship. The committee has made a point to pay more attention to the conference tourneys this year.
I think there is little chance this drops them from a 2 seed and no chance it drops them to a 4. Now if they lose their first game in the conference tourney, then we are definitely talking 3 and maybe 4.
Yeah I'm not sure how classless it is, but I can certainly understand the need to keep everyone off the court. It really would be a shame if someone like Law or Durant got hurt because of it.
It isn't? Then why did u wait to fill up your stadium the first time this year for this game then? Tool
I was at this game (I'm an Aggie fan). I left feeling completely exhausted and heartbroken. Then I had to get heckled by all the classless Texas fans as I walked to my car. Nice.
That's awesome. You should've heard the crap thrown my way after the first loss and the football game this year. My ex's 50-something parents were physically threatened after an A&M football game one year. If you're going to go to another team's arena wearing Maroon, you better damn well expect some heckling. That's sports, not a question of class.
