Wait, is that our draft? How are we getting Lavalais in the 2nd round? I thought he was mid-late first round?

Yes they do. They used Oakland's second round pick they got in a trade last year in the supplemental draft for Hollings.

I may be wrong, but I don't see any chance of Dorsey being around in the second round. I haven't looked at too many mock darfts however. Is the 2nd round where he is being projected? I'm no scout but if he falls to the 2nd alot of GM's have missed the boat on this guy.

One thing I need to ask about the Texans drafting: are they going to take the best available talent, or fill needs? Because I really don't see the need to take another WR, even if Darling does fall into te 4th. Strengthening the DL, OL, and secondary should all be priorities. After that, maybe getting a beastly OLB to add to the 3-4 passrush. Just my .02.

Not to pick, but why Lorenzen? We already got Ragone last year (and Henson, if you count him). I think if Casserly takes another QB this year, the media and fanbase is gonna crucify him. (But, hey, BPA is BPA...)

I see B.J. Johnson going before the 5th round, IMO. That is, unless his recent injury is more serious than advertised. However, I like the pick very much and would love to scoop him up somehow.

Oh, one more thing: If Devard Darling falls to the 4th round, I'll eat my hat. Looking at several evaluations, he seems to be a top 10 WR. He looked pretty good against Vasher in the Holiday Bowl (from the one quarter I watched :) ).

Devard Darling will be a superstar in this league and then he should sue Bobby Bowden and ****ing Stupid University for everything they got.

Why? Will they get enough money to bring his brother back to life?

Suing over wrongful death just seems to say, "He might be dead, but money is the next best thing."

I really don't think any of your picks from round 2-4 will still be available when we pick.

Well, if you keep posting mock drafts ad-nauseum, ala Kiper & others, then when the draft rolls around the law of averages says you might - might - be able to say that you got a pick or 2 right.

The "mock draft" might be the single most utterly useless concept in the sporting world.

Y'all have to remember that Charlie Casserly doesn't always make the most obvious picks. Take last year for instace. He blows a 3rd rounder on Dave Ragone, virtually ignoring our other needs. Then he goes on to take little known guys like Seth Wand and Antwan Peek.

Finally, in the 4th round he hits a home run by taking Domanick Davis, who was meant to be a KR/PR and 3rd down back. Meanwhile I'm fuming cause we passed on Onterrio Smith and Chris Brown, both of whom had better collegiate careers.

So don't expect us to take your favorite college players. Casserly will take players that fit our system, and not necessarily the popular picks, after the 1st round.

The Way Bowden and FSU handled that situation made me sick, If he doesn't sue then he is just that more of an honorable man for dealing with this.
