Colors Seen 30 Minutes Before China Quake
Bizarre colorful (luminous/glowing) cloud phenomenon in the sky was observed about 30 mins before the May 12, 2008 Sichuan earthquake took place. This was recorded in Tianshui, Gansu province 450km northeast of epicenter, by someone using a cell phone.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earthquake_light

An earthquake light is an unusual luminous aerial phenomenon, similar in appearance to the aurora borealis, that allegedly appears in the sky at or near areas of tectonic stress, seismic activity or volcanic eruptions. Scientific evidence for the presence of lights is unreliable, given that there are few references documenting the phenomenon.

Maybe we should check back with the good folks at wiki after they've had a chance to review. :)

450km from the epicenter is pretty far away, but that is definitely strange.

What wrath? Irritable Red Cross workers, as long as not siphoning funds, is more than legal. 10 - 15% expense rate is also more than reasonable.

Though the Chinese Red Cross probably should have more transparency, line by line expense verifications is not done ANYWHERE except in audits.

The Chinese people want to ask questions? Fine. Great actually. Don't do it with an accusatory tone as is often the case.
