Far be it from me to put something like that past the NBA. But all 4 of the Cox Pavilion games today are already archived and viewable, including the Grizz/Clips that started only 30 mins before ours. Meanwhile, neither game tonight in the 2nd class arena (Thomas and Mack) is available. Unless something changes, neither one will be until Friday.
Check this out: http://www.nba.com/summerleague2008/games/20080716/CLEHOU/recap.html Not only does this recap have a picture of Brooks with a Rockets jersey photoshopped on to him (or am I just crazy?), but they also say Greene had 12 points when he actually had 17.
How did Dorsey end up with 6 TOs? Usually players like him don't hold the ball long enough to turn it over.
NBA.com is terrible especially when you're trying to follow live games with their box scores. Only thing I use nba.com for is their video archive.
Second round picks get minimum contracts and non-guarateed deals. Buddy Baker wasn't happy with that so they settled on an one year guaranteed deal.
I think every time he brick on the rims shooting freethrows they counted it as a turnover. It's called "forced turn over by the basket".
i went down the list and didnt find any summer league game for the rockets it was just all the other games... what do i do?
what about this statement: As noted, the Greene number is wrong, but what the hell does that mean about Dorsey? Dorsey grabbed 8 of his own 14 rebounds. And I guess Aaron Brooks assisted four of his 7 assists, too.
"The Rockets held a 43-40 halftime lead. Greene, who scored 40 points in Houston's last game, had 12 points and rookie Joey Dorsey grabbed eight of his 14 rebounds" they were obviously talking about the first half
Probably offensive fouls and traveling inside due to shuffling feet. He did have 3 assists early, so he might have been active as a passer throughout the game.
