some of you take **** way to serious. Who the he11 wants to hear non-stop SERIOUS Sports talk (which is a oxy-moron is SPORTS, not something that is life or death). I have to be serious for the next 10 hours at work I want to hear something entertaining, and in general John and Lance are entertaining, though Lance does get carried away with his impersonations. And writing a letter to complain? That is the dumbest crap I have ever heard, if you want them to talk about the rockets, quite being a wuss and dial them up on the phone! As for Charlie and Rich. Charlie has grown on me over the years, at the very least he is an intelligent guy and knows quite a bit about sports…. Rich LARD@SS on the other hand. This guy is an absolute disaster. I mean the guy actually spends time talking about rolling his lard butt around on his bicycle. He and Kenny Handjob are complete tools. If it wasn’t for the old days of 610, when they had those to terrible chicks hosting a show, they would clearly be the worst ever in Houston.
I don't mind some NFL talk. But they have way too much college football talk. College football is boring as hell.
Charlie IS NOT arrogant - he is just very very intelligent and less fortunate people take it the bad way or simply are just victims of inferriority complex. Charlie Pololo is not regarded as one of the best IN THE COUNTRY in what his field for nothing. If you want to talk about arrogant take a look at Jim Rome. I love listening to him because he challenges me intellectually with his takes and he is sensitively grounded. He is an ALL American. If you elivate your thinking department you will enjoy him better.
you guys that are b****ing about the morning show call in..the show is mainly driven by the calls they recieve....also when the rockets win something maybe they'll get some love...make the playoffs, maybe then rockets will be the topic more often..
I like the 610 guys and enjoy listening to THEM, but I HATE the GAMBLING talk -- I tune out and change stations every time I hear that guy they have on talking "the odds" for . . . . "entertainment value only," . . . right! I know I'm probably not in the target listening market (unlikely to go to Trailer Wheel & Frame) and don't pretend to have my finger on the pulse of societal tastes, but on the other hand, I am also not a moralist or easily offended. It's funny, just before I saw this thread, I was thinking last week, "Well, times have really changed when this stuff is a featured part of a main stream sports show." So I just figured I was alone in my reaction, but some of your posts have made me feel better, frankly.
I listen to 610 now and then, until the non-stop commercials they run finally drive me nuts, and I switch over to XM.
