    There is probably a minor translation problem going on here. I bet Yao just threw up after a bad meal. (i.e. he "booted")

    The information I got is that Yao only brought one shoe of each pair of his shoes back because he needs to be on the boot all the time and does not need the other shoe.

    you all should be hoping he took his boot off. at least then there would be a perfect explanation why it hasn't healed.

    if he didn't take his boot off, then this will most likely be a recurring problem.

    I recommend that you go to the bathroom and wash your mouth and mind thoroughly with a strong soap. Your thinking is off the mark, It becomes obvious that you have no feeling for Yao Ming. :p :p

    I don't wish anything bad on him, and I hope the best for him. But I also will say I haven't been a big fan of Yao for several years, and I would absolutely love to put his 16-20 million towards something else.

    If Yao did walk around without the boot at least that provides a solid and preventable cause for the fracture getting worse. It lends hope that immobilizing his foot will help it heal.
