Hahaha!!! I have never, in my entire life, heard someone complain about a player being in decline by pointing to that player's CURRENT windmill jams.

Sorry, just had to comment on that.

    Yeah he's not.

HE used to be just a athlethic freak, who was faster, stronger, and jumped higher than everyone.

But his knee injury made him a knock down shooter. He has improved.

This is silly...he's not what he used to be, you say that like he's 34 and on the decline.

When is there ever proof? There's no proof until teams or players announce it. Up until that point, it's always conjecture and hearsay.

lol, and who's chris duhon? he went from averaging like 6 pts and 4 assists to 11 pts and 7 dimes playing under d'antoni bro. you're making it seem like nash makes amare. the d'antoni's system helped every player there.

amare can shoot, has a post game, finish... with those skills, you don't need anybody.

DM I bet also does not want another max contract with a player who has an injury history.

Amare will certainly be overpaid by some team. I just hope that it is not us.

If we could get rudy instead of jrich, then I would think about this harder. But as it stands now idk if I would.

I would rather get bosh, but that isnt a for sure thing if were trying to get him through FA. So thats something else to consider as well.

This is totally BS. No way Rockets will do it.

If you try to wait for 2010, you (1) may not have the money and (2) will be competing with multiple teams for a player who has no connection to your organization.

The best chance at getting either Amar'e or Bosh long term is to trade for them now and try to work out an extension during the season.

I would pull the trigger on this deal. I would be excited to see what this team can do. Without a trade like this, its going to be really tough for the rockets to get into the playoffs.

If this trade goes down, what happens to Yao when he comes back, he is way too slow to play with this team.

if we make this trade, it's for the assumption that yao's done. there is NO WAY yao can play with this team. or these players can play with yao in the halfcourt.

I thought this rumor was already shot down?

In fact, it wasn't even a rumor, a post here made up the trade.

    I'd pull the trigger.

This will be a run & gun team like Rick's old Sacramento team was.

Not smart, just smart a$$. Just poking fun. I figure this is about as true as a bigfoot sighting at Katy Mills Mall but this will now live on in talk and probably even polls for days......

If the Rockets do this trade, they are not rebuilding. Anyways, I'd prefer Rudy Fernandez over Jason Richardson.

Keep in mind that Richardson has only two years remaining on his contract, so he and Yao would both be expiring in the same year.
