Yeah, they are really boring. I still listen, as there is nothing better on the air on my way to work. I don't mind either one of them, but paired together is pretty dull
It's not knowledge they lack, it is just that Marc is boring and doesn't know it. Adam and Andre has been really good this morning. But anyone in comparison to John and Lance is going to seems boring. They had 10 years of chemistry together. With that said, Chance and Matt are probably the only people at the station with the kind of personalities to have a fun morning show.
On the subject of 610, I think I heard them (matt jackson?) say JVG will cohost the afternoon show on thursday

True. I don't dislike MVD the way some people here do. Mainly because of his boring style and maddening digressions, he needs to be the secondary host instead of the primary guy. Someone needs to carry him. Rich Lord couldn't do it and Andre Ware is even more of a support and less of a lead than MVD. How long will it take 610 to figure that out? NOTE TO AM610: There is a reason why the Morning Show picks it up a notch when either Andre Ware or MVD is on vacation. When talking football, Andre Ware turns into a lead guy but he is still kind of boring to listen to. Once a week during the football season is fine, but he's hard to take on a daily basis. If 610 paired MVD up with someone had more weight, he could be a good sidekick IMO. If they insist on keeping Mattj in the afternoon, at least give Wexler a chance in the morning with MVD. That might be salvagable.
Jeff will be on Thursday starting at 2. I'm really looking forward to working with him. I know that most of you only care about his basketball thoughts, but he is a true sports fan. JVG and Huggins at 2:40pm on thursday I believe....We'll take some calls , but it's not going to be 4 hours of basketball. I don't know if you guys got to hear it, but I had a good time working with Craig Ackerman on monday. He's alot of fun and I am hopeful he will be the heir to the Gene Peterson throne. Matt Sampsell from Fox 26 fills Rich's shoes today....Thanks for listening as always....
