Yeah he probably did but I looked at it in both ways. In McGrady's way i thought hey if you was in his shoes and your in a position to get what you basically wanted your whole life your going to do whatever you can to get it. Basically McGrady is in the best position to get a ring. If he is traded from the Rockets he is basically going to another team which is less likely to be a contender. I kind of don't blame him but it is a soap opera
That is so irrelevent to this discussion it is not even funny. Each year there is a different team and different set of issues. The only relevent record is THIS year's without Tmac...the rest is just noise. DD
again, irrelevant to this season. had we had the same exact team and t-mac had been playing at the same level, then it would be worrisome. neither of those things are anywhere close to true however.
They were 9 wins 7 losses last year and 13 wins 6 losses this year. Who cares what happened 4 years ago when the whole team was basically hurt.
Thank you for the recap and starting the thread. Too bad we will never found out the player who was probably a guy we all never considered and had a few games where he played like an all star and the next game was just average. The Rafer interview is good too but I find it hard to believe he's good friends with Tracy. Of course he hopes the surgery and everything goes well with Tracy but Rafer is definetly one really frustrated with Tracy's lack of playing defense. Also taking over Rafer's role as PG and stopping the ball is something Rafer definetly struggled with (he mentions not moving the ball being a problem). Alston sounds like a good guy. He made a nice joke about how the team dealt with Tracy's injury, but I will not spoil that one, you have to listen yourself.....
What the hell does overall have anything to do with THIS YEAR? 13-6 is with THIS YEAR'S squad : Artest, Wafer, Barry, Brooks, Landry, etc....in years past, we had freaking Luther Head as his primary back-up. That's obviously gonna cost you games.
just made a wager with a buddy of mine, in the event of a Portland-Houston first round series, that Houston advances.
FAIL! If I were in a position like that, I'd rehab like crazy and do whatever the docs told me to. Did he do that. NO. Now that Rox are considering trading him, all of a sudden he's so eager to get a ring? Fxxx that.
Not sure if youve watched even one game this season with the way you are talking. It is clearly obvious that this current team is much better off without this current TMac. Its not even close. Plus, that 13-6 record also includes some games that Artest was out as well. This team is much better off without McGrady in the lineup, at least for this season.
