Thanks DD, I heard part of it but good to catch what I missed. All AB needs to do is keepp pushing through the lane to keep the defense moving and that will open up plenty for us to take advantage of. And, to keep them honest he needs to drop a few 10's or layups on them. He is just too fast not take advantage of it in every game. That is how he will be consistent for every 3 out of 3 games.
I like how every now and then in DD's transcript DM would start talking in third person. "DM: DM doesn't thingk so, DM saw this happen, DM thought it was bad." Thanks a lot DD
Thanks for the recap. Interesting. Does that mean once Tmac comes back, Lowry will be playing PG for his defense?
That's what stood out to me too. We are so lucky to have Scola. I also love how he took a jab at JVG on coaching the opposing teams from the media. LOL.
I am glad I could help, thanks for the rep people, it makes doing this stuff worth the time....and it helps get the rep feature working correctly. DD
As I stated in another thread, I agree with Morey that Brooks is the key for us to have a chance to beat the Lakers. I know it asks a lot for AB to have 2 good games out of 3 at this stage of his career, but we need that from him to beat a good Lakers team, since he is our biggest advantage vs the Lakers.
You have done way more than some of the so called self proclaimed "true Rockets" fans, who also call himself err themselves the 1999ers. Always dissing on new members and our current players. Don't let the posers who use our championship team to diss on new current fans fool ya, you DD my friend, are a true Rockets fan.
Interesting. As repetitively stated on the TV, Rick wasn't too thrilled when he first found out his starting PG was traded. It's hard to tell which one of them two are spinning.
I was just thinking about the Battier article that came out couple months ago on how he was guarding Kobe. I remember the author speaking about a book of stats on Kobes moves and shots, etc that Morey gave him. I'm wondering if Morey is giving everyone their individual books for this series on their potential matchups
He may, but Battier's probably the only one who would read it in its entirety, understand it, and apply it each and every play.
preaching to the choir man....preachin to the choir. Had to be joking a bit, it's not like NBA teams dont already know what works and what doesnt against Yao, surely the scouting departments get paid for something...right? you probably can't. I believe at this time it is restricted to Contributing Members and a select group of long term regular members. oh, and btw....nicely done Dak...as much as I rag on you, this place wouldnt be the same without you....and I mean that in a good way.
You know I feel the same about you R2k....even when we are acting like kids and bickering...LOL. Probably drives Clutch nuts... DD
an addition of Moroy on 610 sports radio, from sportsradiointerviews.com On the Rocket’s secret weapon in the first round: “We can unleash this now, he wouldn’t let me talk about it. We had ‘The Zipper,’ Pat Zipfel, who’s our advanced scout, and we hired him from Portland when Rick (Adelman) first started. So, Nate, the whole series is trying to hide his hand signals so Pat couldn’t give ‘em ’cause we have obviously the greatest coach on the floor in the league in Shane (Battier). And, so, Pat would get ‘em replay ‘em to Shane… We felt like were a little tick ahead because we had Pat Zipfel on the bench.” make me wonder if the coach staff has any secret weapons again lakers too.
