Jeez, I had completely forgotten that Luther is even on this team. This guard situation could turn into a real mess.

agree with having no room for him. don't agree with your 11man rotation. rafer is probaly gone....and i believe luther and snyder are going to be the 12th man, depending on opponents we play. brooks, is still a rookie, and may need time, just developing. so beginning of season i see this lineup

    PG: francis
    SG: tracy
    SF: battier
    PF: hayes
    C : Yao

    james PG
    wells SG/SF
    scola PF
    mutombo C
    head SG
    Snyder SG/SF
    Butler PF

we retain landry rites. we cut mike harris. the only trade i think we need is lucas for draf picks or/and cash. and to do a 2 for 1deal with rafer and sura. or rafer for a t.e, if we can expect that. or rafer for expiring contract

We have no space for Howard. Plus, he is bad luck. No.

you almost got it right, just need to take rafer's name off the list, and add head and butler to make the 12 man roster, with Novak, Snyder, and Landry on the 15 man roster and inactive list.

Send him over to Don Nelson to see what he can do with him.

    Yao
    Scola
    Battier
    McGrady
    James

    Francis
    Wells
    hayes
    head
    Deke

Novak and brooks round off the roster. i see lucas being traded for draft pick and Rafer and Snyder for TE.

I like Howard enough but I think Scola will make his presence redundant on the Rockets.
However, I think we could still use one more frontcourt player, and should be looking for a tall, defensive-minded rebounder who can play PF/C. Juwan Howard unfortunately doesn't fit that bill.

Think of him as a salary dump. Rafer+Reed+Butler saves the Rockets money now and in the future.

isnt there like some sort of rule that says we can't retain a player for a year after we trade him away? Or that might have been MLB or something, cause for some reason I think Gary Payton did the same thing with one of his later teams (meaning not the sonics)

Juwan howard won't be bought out unless he accepts at least a 20% paycut. Theres no way the Wolves wonld do that kinda stupid deal and let howard becomesa rocket agan for cheap.

we get a cheap juawn howard then trade him, rafer, reed, and bobby for a decent player. thats part of the plan. There is no way we keep howard especialy with how many players we have. unless, we do a 38 for 1 trade. rafer and howard are both good values for their contract

How About Howard or Pietrus in Utah?
Steve Luhm of the SALT LAKE TRIBUNE writes, "Howard averaged 9.7 points and 5.9 rebounds last season -- nice numbers considering his opportunities were limited because of the presence of Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming. He also played in 80 games, which speaks to Howard's durability and willingness to play with minor bumps and bruises. Pietrus enjoyed a nice season -- 11.1 points per game and 38.8 percent shooting from the three-point line. At 6-foot-6 and 215 pounds, he has desirable size for his position and he's not a salary cap burden."

you can have as many players as you want, teams just have to be down to 15 by the start of the season.
