AD. He's got a small contract, which makes him easier to trade, if he doesn't work out.

Now that we didn't get Barry, my vote is to trade for either Daniels, Ridenour, Payton, Hinrich and Duhon (not just Duhon, though). I'm glad the Rockets aren't hamstringing us in the future by going after this absurdly high priced FA class. Wait for the deals.

I'd love to deal the TE to Seattle for Daniels and one of their overpaid Cs with not too many years left on the contract. Daniels is just what we need out of our starting point, and their C's are "good enough" to spell Yao for a while.

Fisher - isn't worth the whole MLE if that is what he is asking for.

Snow - I like his game, despite his non existant 3 point shot, but that contract is killer

Alvin Williams - hate his game, hate his contract. Funny how rap fans were talking about how good AW was, but now they can't dump his contract and signed a streetballer to another fat contract to replace him

Payton - I could do Payton. I thought he wasn't used properly in LA.

NVE - no chance of landing him. We have nothing that would match his contract that GS would want.

as far as snow's contract goes, lets not worry for now. Given the recent lifespan of our players, the cheerleaders are more likely to have a longer term with the rockets than most of our players, Les does a pretty good job of offloading bad contracts (Rice, Cato, Thomas, Moocher) can you name that many Rockets under the Les era that have played through their entire contract?

The Rockets sent Vernon Maxwell to Seattle so they can take out Gary Payton. He threw a dumbell at him but hit Horrace Grant instead.

Damn Vernon would have been the ultimate hero!

I hope we are talking to chicago about Chandler and Hinrich for what ever pfs we have and a small foward of choice along with a 1st rounder next year.

i know they wanted Howard and we could give them pike, boki, or griff along with a draft pick next year. The only ways to get good talent at these two positions is to overpay, draft, or trade for.

Chitown wants to win now with vets and stop rebuilding...hope we are tring to sell them hard.

I think if we appraoch Philly for snow and samuel we could use part of ourMLE for MoPete and solidify our bench. I think Philly would do it in order to possibly go after Dampier !!! They have no starting C.

I believe Daniels is a cheap option but not much of an upgrade over Lue.

Payton is done stick a fork in him ,Billups use and abuse him I almost felt sorry for him during the playoffs. Francis, parker, cassell, billups!!!!

Cannot wait to find out !!!!

    He's younger than Brent Barry.

Sixers fans want him gone because they have AI, Igoudala, Green, and Salmons all younger options, all deserving playing time. They don't need him, and don't want to be paying big bucks for a player that they don't need.

    We need a point guard.

I am almost positive that both those guys are considered part of their core, and won't be dealt without getting something special in return.

We are not trading bench players for future all-stars, as much as I wish we could.

Say NO to Snow .. as stated earlier, he doesn't provide value.

Also,, I looked at A.Daniels stats last year ( played 21.3 MPG )

#1 in the NBA for Assists to Turnovers (4.89 ) and
    #8 in Assists per 48 minutes ( 9.5 )

    8.0 points & 2.0 rebounds ( per game )

    SNOW's stats ( while avg 36 MPG )

    #6 in Assists per Game ( 6.9 )
    # 7 in Assists per Turnover (3.01)
    # 10 in Assists per 48 minutes (9.01)

    10.3 points & 3.4 rebounds ( per game )

I agree. Daniels is much better then Lue, and we don't need him exclusively running the offense, just pushing the ball up the floor, we have several guys who can run the offense. Payton would be my main preference, Daniels is a solid fall back. Seattle fans are saying the offense was stagnant with Daniels, but the Lakers offense didn't exactly flourish with Fisher, same goes with Philadelphia with Snow. I

He may be younger then Barry, but his contract is worse then what the Rockets were thought to have offered Barry. If people were complaining about Barry because his contract at 6 mill a year carried on until he was 36, why would people want Snow who has a contract that carries over into the same age but is BIGGER then Barry's?
