I agree. You are fat because you are lazy. Only a small percentage of people are fat because of a medical condition. Everyone can go run and eat healthy.

 

You can not be that big and imobile without someone enabling that person.

Hate to sound like a jerk here, but I have to agree with drapg and MB - there is no excuse for not exercising, especially if you are unhappy about being a fatso. People used to ask me all the time to consider going out with this girl or that one or whatever and they were all overweight. I would say, "No thanks." Then of course they were like "Why not?" And I would say, "Why should I go to the trouble of working my ass off to make my body look good and healthy whereas the person I am with doesn't give a **** about theirs?"

Obviously, this woman had a medical condition that made it impossible for her to lose weight no matter what, but I would guess these people are the rare exceptions to the rule.

Thats true. But I'm pretty sure there are alot of unknown fat people with a rare case as this one who are being neglected before it's too late. Someone must be feeding them. Its almost like a house full of felines breeding and crapping all over the place until someone found out one day.

 

Am I the only one that finds the being on the couch for five years a little hard to buy? Can't skin become grafted to something much sooner, say in a matter of weeks? I just cannot see how she managed to survive THAT long without moving (not even bringing up how the couch could possibly hold five years worth of human waste).

 

I was trying to avoid the mental image of that last part. Seriously, something doesn't add up with this whole scenario.

 

Yeah, that waste part aspect of the story is just disturbing. Nastiness. Mix that with the body odor floating around and youve got one hell of an aroma.

did anyone ever see Jerry Seinfeld when he did standup back in the day. One of his jokes was about the then worlds fattest man who weighed over 1.000 pounds. He would joke about him loosing a hundred pounds. Thats a lot of weight to you and me but to him its not going to be noticable. Then he would joke about trying to give the worlds fattest man a compliment on his weight loss.

Im sure with a lot of these seriously fat people it gets to a point where they feel they just cant loose the weight. Even after they loose weigth they are not seeing results.
