    David Rhodes, who became the head of the CBS News in February 2011 is a former Fox News executive.

    His bio also reveals:

    Rhodes began his career as a Production Assistant at the newly-launched Fox News Channel in 1996, where he later became Vice President of News. At the network he managed coverage of three presidential elections, wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, hurricanes including Katrina, and was the channel’s Assignment Manager on the news desk the morning of September 11, 2001.

    Unfortunately, competition in 'news' has gone from recognizing and rewarding those who get big stories right, to rewarding those who get shocking/inciting stories fastest.

    If only considering the point at which she is in her career compared to where Rather was during the National Guard memo story, I would hope not. I just think she has decades more to offer journalistically and it will hit a bigger audience on a broadcast network.

    So this one source is bogus, does that mean it didn't happen, and it wasn't orchestrated by over 100 terrorists, and it had nothing to do with that stupid YouTube video?

    and the fact is that one guy who tried to personally capitalize on this tragedy by writing a self-promoting, fictitious account is unveiled.
