Oh well, this is dumb. They can't close a 2.5% gap? We're not going to see basketball for a long time if they're going to be this stubborn.

I don't see the players going lower then 52%

The owners knew all along they really wanted a 50 - 50 split anything lower then 52 is just getting greedy.

If the owners where more important then the players their would be no difference between the Bucks and the Lakers.

Also the players have more hands in the pot on their side and less time to get a slice then the owners due they should get the bigger piece of the pie.

Now come the missed checks. Really!?! The players are $800 million apart. They will wish they took that when the checks, endorsements stop coming and the hatred comes from the fans.

It just sucks man. NBA on Christmas is a life long tradition of mine, every year I look forward to the matchups. Almost as important as NFL on Thanksgiving.

So sad I will not be able to watch it this year. I really wanted to go to the games too. :(

No NBA in the fall? :(

Watching the presser on NBA TV. Fisher came out pretty pissed. Mentioned that they were willing to go to 50% BRI in years where revenue was down and would go as high as 53% in up years.

Players ought to take the 50/50 split and run with it,
but it's obviously going to cost them multiple paychecks before they realize just how incredibly fortunate they are.

Billy Hunter saying again that this whole process was "pre-ordained" to break the union. Says owners gave union "ultimatum" on 50-50 split.

Hunter says players won't accept the 50-50 split until players know what the system -- lux tax, exceptions -- lools like.

I agree. Even if the owners are no-good liars and crooks, right now I have 0 sympathy for the players.

I guess it means players will eventually crack and go with 50-50.
