To be honest, even that would take a lot of help. For us to win the American, we would need to win the rest of our AAC games AND need Navy to lose 2 of their remaining AAC games (which is possible as they do play Memphis and South Florida but still unlikely tbh). If we don't win our conference, there is zero chance we get into a NY6 bowl.
Guys, I know what happened. I had a lot of work this week. I am part of a 3 person group for my senior design group. One of the people is out of town this weekend and the other is an absolute scrub, so the burden is basically on me for designing a stinking desal plant. Thus, I was not able to watch the full game today (stopped rather early), the first time of the season. Correlation must be causation: we are talking sports here, not science. BUT... why did I have so much work this week? I did solid work with the partner out of town on Friday. But the other one does nothing, leaving more to be done by me. So there you have it guys. My scrub of a senior design partner: she is the real reason behind the loss.
Well that was fun. Hope the fans keep up the support even after this hiccup. The only lingering doubt is of course with Herman. We saw one of our coaches literally mail it in in a championship game after he had agreed with another school. If Herman leaves at the end of the season we can assume that's what happened here.
Refresh my memory, did A&M request and UH grant permission to interview Sumlin before the championship game?
Such a typical troll. Coogs are doing better things than any other school in the great state of Texas. 2 loses in 2 season. What's your school doing looking to hire our coach? Move along.
Kind of hard to make that argument with an undefeated A&M team in the SEC. Coogs couldn't even beat Navy
Do you make a habit out of making assumptions that are wrong? I'm not grumpy. I said Navy earned the victory by out playing UH. I know that going 13-0 is very unlikely. I just like pointing out that UH is relevant enough that trolls like to show up on a UH thread and drag their knuckles. UH is doing great things on many levels. I am pleasantly surprised that UH jump to the level of being discussed so frequently. I felt years ago that they would always be at best a big fish in a little pond some years. But the stakes have changed. The school has made the right choices and many have stepped up with money to see the plan through. So I have no reason to be grumpy. I am enjoying the ride.
